Any order placed Monday to Thursday will be dispatched the next day and delivered within 1-2 working days if no delivery date is chosen at the checkout. Any orders placed on a Friday will be dispatched on the following Monday. If you would like Saturday delivery please email us on hello@handpickedhampers.co.uk with your order and contact details. We will then call you to make payment. The current cost for Saturday Delivery is £22.99 (we are looking to reduce this in the future).

Every gift box/hamper will be delivered in our packaging to ensure it arrives in the best possible condition. We use APC Overnight couriers who will handle the delivery with the necessary care.

Any hamper delivery which includes cheese will need to be opened on delivery as the cheese will need to be stored in the fridge. These hampers can also only be ordered for standard delivery Monday-Thursday. If ordered on a Friday, they will be dispatched on the Monday unless you contact us for Saturday delivery. This is due to the necessary storage conditions needed and it cannot be in a warehouse over the weekend.

Delivery times

For all UK Mainland deliveries you will receive parcels on standard delivery within 1-2 working days and Saturday deliveries will be on a timed service. For all UK non-mainland deliveries you will receive the parcel on standard delivery within 2-3 working days unless otherwise stated.

Our parcels are delivered by APC Overnight courier between 8am and 4pm on the delivery date.  You will also receive a tracking number via email so you can track your parcel.

Please note that bank holidays are not classed as a working. Any placed on a bank holiday will be dispatched on the following working day. We will try to keep you updated with this on our social media pages. If you have any questions please let us know.

Nominated Date Delivery

For those special occasions you can request a delivery date when you reach the checkout.  All UK Mainland postal addresses can choose a date from the next date available in the calendar. All UK Non-Mainland postal addresses will need to place the order a minimum of 3 days in advance of your chosen delivery date. This is to ensure the gift arrives on the specified date. If you would prefer your order as soon as possible then please do not choose a date.We will then dispatch the gift the next day.

We will endeavour to deliver your hamper or gift on the date you have specified. However, once the item has been dispatched by us we are reliant on the delivery company to keep to the timed schedule.

As we currently use an external delivery company, it is out of our hands if the delivery is not made on the preferred date.

However we do advise the company of the preferred delivery date and every effort is made to stick to this date.

 

APC Overnight Parcel Tracking

Enter a email address during checkout and APC will send you a message when the delivery is due. On the day of delivery, your parcel should arrive by 4pm. If you have any trouble with delivery please do contact us on hello@handpickedhampers.co.uk and we will help you sort out any issues.

If this delivery slot is not convenient, they provide a range of options including:

  • Change delivery date
  • Deliver to a neighbour
  • Leave the parcel in a safe place specified by you

 

Additional information

Please note that after dispatch, any changes to the hamper delivery address may incur additional charges.

In the unlikely event that the delivery is delayed, due to no fault of our own, Handpicked Hampers Ltd cannot accept responsibility.

We will deliver to the address as you have entered it and cannot accept any liability for late or failed delivery due to the quoted address being incorrect or incomplete. Handpicked Hampers Ltd reserves the right to charge the customer an additional fee for carriage, handling charges or unusable content in the event of a failed delivery caused by the supply of an incorrect or incomplete delivery address by the customer.

If the hamper purchased contains alcohol then the purchaser and recipient must be over 18 years old. The customer confirms that they are aged over 18 years by placing an order for an alcoholic product. Additionally it is a criminal offence for an adult to purchase or attempt to purchase alcohol for a child under the age of 18 years old. The delivery company will only deliver to persons over the age of 18 if alcohol if is present in the hamper. This is also stated in our terms and conditions.
